It is a collaborative approach delivered by a licensed mental health professional who has been trained and received a Master's, Doctorate, or Medical Degree. 

Therapy is often interchangeably called counseling or psychotherapy.

At Thrive Wellness & Therapeutics, therapy is delivered by highly trained, licensed professionals with advanced degrees in mental health fields. Our therapists bring clinical expertise, warmth, and compassion for each unique client. We work from evidence-based including DBT and CBT approaches tailored to support women who are intelligent, driven, and used to handling it all—but who may have also been carrying the weight of invisible stress, anxiety, and perhaps even perfectionism beneath the surface.

Therapy isn’t about fixing something that’s broken—it’s about healing yourself, learning to love yourself, putting you first—because you matter too. It's giving yourself the gift to breathe, process, and reconnect or ignite your inner goddess. She's already in there, and she can't wait to come out and shine.

What  To  Expect

Therapy is a process designed to help you better understand yourself, navigate life’s complexities, and make meaningful changes. It’s a space created just for you—free of judgement, confidential, and grounded in trust. We will help you to slow down, reflect, and realign (or maybe identify altogether) with your values and goals.

First, we work toward building a relationship, so you know you are safe and not judged. We will set up a judgment-free zone where you can be totally yourself. Then we work together to identify what your goals are and then create a plan to achieve them.

We will work on building your toolkit to cope with life's stressors and challenges. Identify limiting beliefs and challenge them. We help you find the roadblocks to creating and living the life you always dreamed of. And come up with problem-solving strategies to remove them.

Sessions are dynamic. So don't worry, you won't be doing all the talking!

Here the therapist will meet couple together. There may be some individual sessions but generally the sessions will occur with couple as a whole. Sessions can be done in our office or from the comfort of your own home or office virtually. 

Couples Therapy

Family Therapy can come in two forms.
First, you may want to have family sessions with loved ones as part of your typically individual treatment model. Maybe mom has been harassing you for years to get married now and stop focusing on work, and you need some help communicating what's going on for you.
OR perhaps the family system as a whole has become dysfunctional and you need help enhancing communication, respect, boudnaries and establishing a sense of calm in the family.

Family Therapy

You learn best by connecting with and hearing others. You feel a sense of validation knowing you aren't the only one experiencing the set of issues you are.

This approach can be really beneficial. Group therapy can sometimes feel scary, but there is a sense of comfort in knowing you aren't the only person experiencing the struggles of life. It often helps you learn about yourself through others. Groups can become a safe space to get feedback, not just from your therapist but from others who have been or are there too. 

Group Therapy

A loose and flexible model similar to what you would find in a personal trainer. 

Coaching

Incorporating movement such as yoga or other somatic practices into your healing journey is a great way to move emotions through the body.
